Personal information provided by users who inquire about hotel bookings or request literature (such as brochures, newsletters, recordings, etc.) is used solely to perform or provide the services requested and is not disclosed to third parties, except in the following possible cases: commercial partners of Hotel Manzoni to which the latter transmits the data solely to fulfill the user’s online reservations; businesses or professional firms carrying out servicing assistance and consultancy to Giaveco Srl in relation to accounting, administrative, legal, tax and financial matters; parties and entities whose access to the data is recognized by law or by order of the authorities;
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
During their normal operation, computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on web pages dedicated to particular services on request. Personal information concerning visitors to the Web site is neither collected nor used. All visitors remain anonymous. The sole exception concerns information for personal identification needed to fulfill contract obligations towards users. When booking on the website, users are required to provide their names, billing address, e-mail address, as well as payment and credit card information. Giaveco Srl will use this information solely to process bookings and to send specific information relevant to confirm the bookings, such as receipts, booking codes and conditions. The information provided will not be used for commercial purposes, and will not be sold, transferred, licensed or forwarded to third parties. In any case, the site’s administrator assures the adoption of scrupulous procedures to protect navigation data, and the use of special procedures to protect credit card information provided when booking online.
OPTIONAL NATURE OF ASSIGNMENT OF DATA
Aside from the specifications provided for navigation data, users are free to provide the personal data contained in the request forms to Giaveco Srl, or indicated in contacts for online bookings, sending advertising material, information or other communications. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to fulfill the user’s request.
METHODS ADOPTED FOR THE PROCESSING OF DATA
Personal data is processed by automated tools strictly for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it has been collected. Specific security measures are adopted to prevent data loss, misuse or improper and unauthorized access.
RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES
Subjects whose personal data refers to have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence of such data, and to be aware of the content and origin, verify the data’s accuracy or request its integration, updating or correction (Art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). Pursuant to the above Article, users have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data in violation of the law, and oppose its treatment, in any case, for legitimate reasons.
